Has Wayang really redefined Malaysian film as we know it. I don't know. Haven't seen it... but by the way it won, it seems as it did. Entahlah...
I highly doubt it though... I am skeptical.
But congratulations to Tersasar Di Jalanmu and of course, Erma Fatima for their wins. Also kalao korang perasan, ada sorang bernama Eds Edrina yang dicalonkan dalam Pelakon Pembantu Lelaki Terbaik for it, aku bangga. Sebab Ed tu junior aku kat sekolah, and also a close friend who is responsible for my Halloween look last month.
Dia ni memang special effects artist, but dia ni da lama lakon gak, dari teater, ke TV ke filem, hasil didikan Erma Fatima. Ni pon baru balik dari Kuala Kangsar - baru jumpa dia sebab dia working on the special effects on Mamat Khalid's Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah.
Walaopon dia tak menang, sebab dia saing ngan ramai senior, and yang menang pon Ahmad Tarmimi Siregar. Nak kata apa kan.. memang tough gila. But the fact dia nominated pon aku da proud.
Also thank you to TV3 for renaming the special jury award, to the Yasmin Ahmad Award to reward new talents.
And congrats to Jac for the win. You deserve it woman!
